1070 Aluminum Alloy (UNS A91070)
1070 aluminum is a 1000-series industrial pure aluminum that has the general properties of aluminum, such as low density, good electrical and thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and good plastic processing properties. It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment but can be improved by cold deformation; the only form of heat treatment is annealing. 1070 pure aluminum has low strength and poor cutting properties and may be processed into plates, strips, foils, and extruded products, among other things, making it appropriate for aluminum foil used in gaskets and capacitors.
1070 pure aluminum has good room temperature strength and good fatigue strength at temperatures up to 250 °C (480 °F). Because of its excellent corrosion resistance, 1070 aluminum comprises alloying elements such as zinc, copper, and manganese, making it one of the most durable alloys.

Heat Treatment Process of 1070 Aluminum Alloy (UNS A91070)
1) Complete annealing: heating to 390–430 °C with the effective thickness of different materials, holding time of 30–120 min, and 30–50 °C/hh speed with the furnace cooling to 300 °C, then air cooling.
2) Rapid annealing: heating to 350–370 °C with the effective thickness of different materials, holding time of 30–120 minutes, empty or water cooling.
3) Quenching and aging: quenching at 500-510 °C, air-cooled; artificial aging at 95-105 °C, 3 hours, air-cooled; natural aging at room temperature 120 °H
